Bahama Mama Tropical Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients

Strawberries — ⅓ cup.

Pineapple — ⅓ cup.

Coconut milk — 1 cup.

White chocolate chips — 1 ½ tbsp.

Coconut chunks — 2 tbsp.

Ice — 1 pack.

Instructions

1. Add strawberries, pineapples, coconut milk, and white chocolate chips to a blender.

2. Blend at high speed until smooth.

3. Add 1 pack of ice into the blender and blend until smooth.

4. Pour your Bahama mama tropical smoothie into a glass and garnish with shredded coconut chunks.

Substitutions

Coconut milk — While coconut water works well, if what you’re looking for is a lighter alternative, you can use any kind of milk. Soy milk and almond milk work great too.

Coconut chunks — Feel free to use any kind of frozen fruit as a garnish.

White chocolate chips — Feel free to swap them for white chocolate syrup if you’re short on chips.

Variations

Dairy-free — Try looking for dairy-free white chocolate chips.

Sweetened — Add between 1-2 tbsp. agave nectar or maple syrup.

* Store any leftovers in a jar or an airtight container in your fridge for 1-3 days.

Pulse — You might have to pulse the ingredients to achieve a perfectly smooth texture.

The fruits — When it comes to fruits, you can either go with frozen ones or use fresh ones.

Not too strong? — Feel free to add a splash of rum.
