WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT
Get to know more about
and what it can bring to your plate, literally.
Tomatoes are composed mainly of a carotenoid called lycopene. It also has potassium, vitamins B and E, and other nutrients.
Lycopene is the substance which gives tomatoes and other red-colored fruits and vegetables like watermelon, grapefruits, and papayas their color.
Lycopene protects these fruits and vegetables from harmful UV rays. It does the same thing to us in protecting our cells from damage and deterioration of our immune system.
This antioxidant can help prevent diseases in pancreas, colon, mouth, breast, cervix and more.
But as healthy as it is, it's too boring to eat tomatoes alone!
