Shrimp Scampi Recipe Without Wine

Ingredients

Part 1

Shrimp — 1 pound, peeled and deveined.

Salt — ¼ tsp.

Black pepper — ¼ tsp.

Olive oil — 1 tbsp.

Garlic — 2 cloves, minced.

Thyme — ¼ tsp., dried.

Chicken broth — ½ cup.

Lemon juice — ¼ cup, fresh.

Butter — 1 tbsp.

Parsley — ¼ cup, fresh.

Instructions

1. In a bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, salt, and minced garlic.

2. Let it marinate for approximately 30 minutes. 

3. Heat butter and olive oil in a large pan.

4. Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir every so often. 

5. Cook until it turns pinkish, and make sure both sides are evenly cooked. This should take about five minutes.

6. Just before adding the chicken stock and the lemon juice, reduce the heat to low.

7. Add chicken stock and lemon juice. Cook for a few minutes on low heat.

8. Top with thyme and parsley before serving.
