Your quest for finding the perfect cocktail comes to an end with Bartaco’s margarita, which is famous for its heavenly cocktails and especially for its margarita. The Bartaco margarita is the queen of cocktails that is a blend of tangy, sweet, and bitter flavors. This margarita can be your go-to drink to lighten up any of your events.

    Instructions

    1. Shake all the ingredients along with the ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
    1. Prepare the margarita glass by using a lemon wedge, rub it on the rim of the glass, and then sprinkle some salt of your preference.
    1. Now carefully pour the margarita into the glass.
    1. Add any garnishes you want, for example placing a lemon wedge on the rim of your glass or adding mint leaves on top.

    Substitutions

    • Agave syrup — Don’t have agave syrup? Agave syrup gives the margarita a sweet taste the same taste as Bartacos. You can also use maple syrup or sugar syrup instead of Agave syrup.
    • Tequila — Tequila gives an earthy flavor to the Bartaco margarita. You can use other substitutes for tequila if you don’t want that earthy flavor. Rum can be used to give the margarita a sweeter flavor or else Mexican martinis and vodkas can be used. They won’t have the same flavor and can be good if you want something new for your taste buds.
    • Orange liquor — You can use triple sec, Grand Marnier, or other flavored vodkas instead of orange liquor. But to have that tangy flavor of Bartaco Margarita, I would suggest you use orange liqueur only.

    Variations

    • Spicy margarita — Those who like their margaritas extra spicy can use jalapenos or hot sauce to spice things up.
    • Fruity margarita — Those who like their drink to be super refreshing and fruity can use watermelon with tequila with a hint of lime juice.
    • Smoky flavored margarita — Use mezcal instead of tequila for the smoky flavor which many people crave.
