    Instructions

    1. First, prepare the shot glass by dripping the caramel sauce over the rim, sprinkling some crushed peanuts, and then placing the candy bar on top of the rim.
    1. Take a cocktail shaker and shake caramel vodka, ice, peanut butter whiskey, and butterscotch liqueur.
    1. Shake the mixture vigorously with ice in it for thirty seconds so that it cools.
    1. Use a strainer and strain the cocktail into the glass prepared earlier.
    1. Serve immediately.

    Substitutions

    • Crushed peanuts — These peanuts not only give an appealing look to the shot and a salty taste to your shot, but also balance the amount of sweet taste in the shot. But if you are allergic to peanuts or don't like the taste of them, you can omit them or use any other crunchy and salty substitute like salted cashews which will give this shot a nuttier flavor.
    • Caramel-flavored vodka — If you run out of caramel-flavored vodka, then don't worry. You can achieve the same taste by adding plain vodka with 1 tbsp. of caramel syrup or just using caramel liquor too.
    • Peanut butter whiskey — If you are in the mood for a bit of an experiment or just want to change the flavor a bit, you can opt for almond flavor whiskey which gives you a nutty flavor. You have to adjust the sweetness of the shot by adding maple syrup according to your preference of sweetness.

    Variations

    • Coconut flavor payday shot — To add a bit of twist and a unique taste to your shot, use coconut rum.
    • Spicy payday shot — Those who aren't fans of sweetness can try this variation by just adding a bit of cinnamon to have the spicy flavor they want.
    • Chocolatey payday shot — For non-alcoholic and chocolatey flavor, try adding chocolate syrup to the shot.
