- Take the bowl out of the microwave and then add your chopped pecans to the mixture. Fold the chopped pecans well into the mixture and then again microwave it for 17 minutes. Every 5 minutes, take the bowl out and mix ingredients with a spatula.
- Then, take the bowl out and then add vanilla extract when the temperature of the mixture reaches 236 degrees F. You can check the temperature by dropping a candy thermometer into the bowl.
- Take a tray and place the greased cookie sheet on top of the tray and then spread the candy batter over it in a layer.
- Let the candy batter cool for 15 mins. and then cut it to your desired shape. You can make small bite-size pieces of this candy or can have large chunks of it.
