  • Ice cream maker

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 ⅓ tbsp. vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Make sure to put the bowl from the ice cream maker in the freezer, preferably overnight.
  • Heat a large saucepan.
  • Stir in the sugar, milk, and cream together on low-medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
  • Remove the mixture from the heat and add the vanilla.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours.
  • Place the mixture in the ice cream maker, and process for half an hour.
  • Let it freeze overnight.
