Stir together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in the mug.
Add the milk, vanilla extract, and butter. Stir together until the mixture is smooth without visible lumps.
Stir in the sprinkles.
Transfer the mug to the microwave, and cook for between 1-1.5 minutes.
Let it cool for a minute before serving.

The mug — We’d recommend using a 10 oz. mug. A smaller one would probably lead to a mess.
Use eggs — If you’re not content with the way things are, you can always use egg yolks the next time. This will help keep the cake moist and tender. 1 large egg yolk will do the trick.
