Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • tbsp. baking powder
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • ¼ tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. sprinkles
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Stir together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in the mug.
  • Add the milk, vanilla extract, and butter. Stir together until the mixture is smooth without visible lumps.
  • Stir in the sprinkles.
  • Transfer the mug to the microwave, and cook for between 1-1.5 minutes.
  • Let it cool for a minute before serving.

Notes

  • The mug — We’d recommend using a 10 oz. mug. A smaller one would probably lead to a mess.
 
  • Use eggs — If you’re not content with the way things are, you can always use egg yolks the next time. This will help keep the cake moist and tender. 1 large egg yolk will do the trick.
