- 8 oz. macaroni pasta
- 2 tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 pcs. onions
- ½ cup parsnips
- 1 cup peas frozen
- 1 tsp. mustard
- ½ cup cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup margarine
- 2 ½ cups oat milk unsweetened
- 1 tbsp. butter
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Finely chop the onions and the parsnips.
Heat some oil and add the vegetables. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Add the frozen peas near the end, a few minutes before turning off the heat.
Drain the pasta after cooking.
Melt some butter in a saucepan.
Stir in the flour, and after a minute or two, add the milk.
Stir well until the mixture thickens.
Let the sauce boil for half a minute, and add the cheddar cheese and mustard.
Combine the pasta with the sauce. Toss well to coat.

- The sauce — You should keep a constant eye on the sauce as it tends to burn quickly.
