Ingredients
  

The apples

  • 4 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. salt

The topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup quick oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda
  • 1 stick butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Create a layer of apples evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  • Combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture over the apples.
  • Add the oats, baking soda, salt, and baking powder to another mixing bowl.
  • Add the butter and stir well.
  • Sprinkle the mixture over the apples, distributing evenly.
  • Bake for 40-50 minutes. Remove when the topping is crispy and brown.
