Ingredients
  

  • 1 pc. onion
  • 1 pc. bell pepper
  • 3 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 pc. egg
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Peel and dice the onion. Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and finely dice it.
  • Combine the diced veggies, ground beef, tomato sauce, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add eggs to another bowl and whisk them using a fork.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the large bowl and use your hands to combine everything. Do not overmix.
  • Place a glass of water at the bottom of a pan before using it. You may want to grease the broiler pan or line it with foil to facilitate easy cleaning.
  • Shape the mixture to fit the pan, ensuring the edges are straight and even.
  • Place the meatloaf in the oven. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool down before slicing.
