Equipment

  • Pitcher or large cup

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 bags black tea
  • 1 bag green tea
  • ½ tsp. hibiscus
  • ½ tsp. cardamom pods
  • ½ tsp. malva leaves
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. honey

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water in a kettle or pot.
  • After the water reaches boiling point, remove it from the heat and let it cool for two minutes.
  • Add the green and black tea bags, hibiscus, cardamom, and malva leaves to the water. Steep for 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and filter the tea using a strainer. Pour it into a glass pitcher or a large cup.
  • Add the lemon juice and honey and stir well.
  • You can enjoy the tea at room temperature or refrigerate it until it is ready to serve.

Notes

  • In the case of over-infusion, the tea can taste slightly bitter. Ensure the infusion time doesn’t exceed 8-10 minutes.
 
  • The temperature of the water plays a crucial role in brewing tea. To prepare a good tea, which is not bitter, the water must not be at boiling temperature.
