Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • ¼ cup cane sugar
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tsp. hot sauce
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions
 

  • Add the barbecue sauce, ketchup, and hot sauce to a saucepan, and heat to a medium flame. Add the sugar and mix till the mixture gets a little thin.
  • Add all other spices and let it simmer for a few minutes. When the sauce gets a bit thick, add lemon juice and cook for two minutes.
  • Turn off the stove when the sauce reaches the required thickness.
  • Let it cool for 30 minutes before using.
