- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. butter
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- ¼ tsp. onion salt
- 1 cup white onion slices
- 1 ½ lb. ground beef chuck
Add the ground beef, salt, onion salt, and black pepper into a bowl. Mix them well to form a meat mixture.
Make four round patties with the mixture.
Take a cast iron skillet and heat it to medium flame. Cook the steaks for four minutes or until the color changes to brown on both sides.
Set the steaks aside.
In the same skillet, cook the onion until it becomes soft.
Take the onion out and set it aside. Add 1 tbsp. of butter to the skillet.
Add the flour, garlic powder, and beef broth. Cook for one minute to make a smooth texture.
Add onions to the gravy and cook for an additional minute.
Serve the steaks with thick and smooth onion gravy on top.
