Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp. ginger root grated
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 cups sparkling water
  • ½ cup pink lotus concentrate
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2-3 cups ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Heat the water in a saucepan until it reaches a hot temperature, but refrain from boiling it.
  • Add the freshly grated ginger to the hot water and let everything steep for approximately 5-7 minutes.
  • Strain the ginger water into a pitcher and remove the ginger pieces.
  • Add sparkling water, lotus concentrate, lime juice, and honey to the pitcher, and stir until the mixture is well combined.
  • Add ice cubes to individual glasses and pour the lotus drink over the ice to serve.

  • For optimal taste, refrigerate the lotus drink before serving. It's best enjoyed when chilled.
 
  • Don't forget the look! The glass can be decorated with fresh mint, strawberries, peaches, raspberries, lemon, or orange slices. The contrasting colors of the fruit will make it look more appetizing. You can sprinkle sugar on the rim of the glasses. You can also decorate them with colored drinking straws and paper umbrellas.
