Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 pc. onion medium-sized
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • Thyme as required
  • 16 oz. sausage
  • 1 cup egg wash
  • 2 packs crescent rolls

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Add garlic powder, onions, and sausage to a skillet and cook the mixture for 10 minutes.
  • Add cream cheese to the bowl with the mixture, and combine well. Slice the crescent rolls dough into 32 pieces of triangles and fill each of them with one tbsp. of the mixture you prepared above.
  • Then roll up the triangles and place them on a baking sheet. And then brush the top of the donkey balls with egg wash. Cook them for almost fourteen minutes till they turn brown.
  • Take it out from the oven and serve it with your favorite seasoning and fresh thyme. You can use butter to make donkey balls shinier.

  • If you want your donkey balls to give a brown finish, use egg white over them. This will help to make them brown and shiny.
 
  • Use some flour on the surface if you want to make the dough easily roll up. It will help you to make the dough more pliable.
 
  • If you want to make your mixture smoother, then try to make the cream cheese extra soft before mixing it with other ingredients.
