Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz. Hennessy
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 2 cups ice
  • 2 wedges lime
  • 1 oz. tequila reposado
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Chop the lime into slices.
  • Grab your cocktail shaker and add some ice.
  • Add the Hennessy, triple sec, tequila, and sugar.
  • Shake for approximately half a minute.
  • Rim the serving glass with salt and the lime slice before serving.

Notes

  • Make it stronger — While our Hennessy margarita recipe is adjusted to perfection if you are after a stronger drink, feel free to use more alcohol. We’d also recommend omitting the sugar entirely.
 
  • Omit the salt — Salt pairs incredibly well with tequila, so it’s no surprise that we’ve also used it in our Hennessy margarita recipe. Still, if you’re one of those strong people who don’t need it, feel free to omit it completely.
