It seems we just can’t get enough vodka shots these days. Although alcohol is fine on its own, who wouldn’t say no to a lighter and tastier version? Now our white tea shot recipe comes into play. Much like its more popular cousin, green tea shot, this white tea shot recipe is perfect for parties, celebrations, and gatherings.

This white tea shot recipe, however, comes with a plot twist. Although you can add one or two white tea leaves for garnishing, this cocktail makes the most of vodka, sour mix, peach schnapps, and syrup. Let’s take a look.

Below, you will find our notes on some of the ingredients and their substitutes. Make sure you check them out for a better recipe:

    • Sour mix — While we recommend using a sour mix, lemonade makes a great substitute. Just mix the lemonade with sugar and water, and you’ll have a sour mix on your hands in no time. You can also opt for lime juice, grapefruit juice, or any kind of citrus juice you’d like.
    • The tea — The cocktail is named white tea shot because of its pale, white color, resembling the traditional Turkish drink raki or Sambuca. Although some recipes utilize white tea bags, we realize that the best version of this fine refreshment was the original one, which does not include tea.
