If it's too large or not ripe enough, you could have lumps. Also, ripe avocados will blend much more easily, not to mention that the taste will be much better.
Sour cream and Greek yogurt — One of the things that make our avocado crema so versatile is that you get to pick how you make it. While sour cream is the more common option, if you’d like your sauce lighter, we recommend going with Greek yogurt. The two have a similar taste, and both would make your avocado crema delicious. If you opt for yogurt, avoid regular yogurt. It’s not as thick as Greek yogurt, which would disturb the texture of your avocado crema.
