Ground meat — Any kind of ground meat, be it turkey, chicken, or pork, can be used in this taco meat recipe.
Heat it — If you’re feeling a bit spicy, try adding red peppers or chili sauce and see where it takes you.
Keep it even — Though our taco meat recipe is tested, if you opt for using a store-bought taco seasoning, keep in mind that you shouldn’t let the seasoning overpower the taco meat. To prevent that, make sure you use two tablespoons of seasoning for one pound of ground beef.
