Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Add the sugar, vanilla essence, oil, milk, and curd in a bowl. Mix and set it aside.
In a second bowl, add the baking powder, salt, baking soda, and flour.
Then, combine the wet ingredients and dry ingredients. Make sure that there are no lumps formed, and the consistency is smooth.
Prepare a round baking tin, lining it with parchment paper. Pour the cake batter into it.
Bake the cake for 25 minutes.
Let the cake sit for 5 minutes before removing it from the baking tin.
Add any desired toppings.
