Heat your griddle to 250°F degrees and lightly grease it with butter.
Combine the pancake mix with water in a mixing bowl.
Stir well until smooth.
Let it rest for a minute or two.
Pour ¼ cup of it into the now-heated griddle.
Cook both sides for two minutes.
Continue until you are out of batter.

Add eggs — Even if the pancake mix doesn’t call for eggs, you can always add an egg or two into the mix for lighter and fluffier pancakes.
Add flavorings — Similar to eggs, a standard pancake mix won’t be calling for any added flavorings, but that shouldn’t stop you from doing it. Cinnamon and vanilla are great, and so is maple syrup!
