Substitutions
- Shell pasta — If you do not have shell pasta, then you can substitute it with elbow pasta. However, I would still recommend using shell pasta so that you can have that amazing taste in every bite.
- Lemon juice — Lemon juice gives this pasta recipe a burst of freshness and has a great citrusy flavor. If you are in the mood for experimenting, you can opt for vinegar which will give the tartness to the pasta without changing the flavor.
- Ground beef — Ground beef can be replaced with ground chicken or other meaty products. However, this recipe is famous for its combination with ground beef so I would highly recommend sticking with this ingredient.
