Salmon pasta is a fairly easy dish to cook that is delicious and somewhat nutritious at the same time, which is a rare combination nowadays. It is not only a great way to incorporate omega-3 fatty fish into your diet, but also a creative take on the classical pasta. Great for cozy dinners, our salmon pasta recipe is both simple and practical, not to mention that the ingredients are fairly accessible. However, it is a calorie-dense dish, mostly due to the creamy sauce.

Therefore, while it is great to have it every now and then, we recommend you to hold on to it for those special events and romantic dates. While it is true that it seems like the go-to recipe for busy weekdays, it is still an elegant and delicious dish. Our salmon pasta recipe is not only beginner-friendly, but it is also a quick one to prepare.

    Salmon Pasta Recipe Pro Tips

    • The pasta — For this recipe, we recommend going with a long-string pasta. Feel free to choose any type — be it spaghetti, fettuccine, or linguine. Linguine is the most commonly used pasta in the salmon pasta recipe.
    • The sauce — Although it varies according to personal preference, we recommend you add a few drops of white wine to enhance the flavor of your sauce at this point. When it comes to preparing the sauce, you have the freedom to experiment with different ingredients, which makes it the most fun part of cooking.
    • The salmon seasoning — If you don’t have Italian seasoning, a combination of rosemary and thyme is always the safe route to go.
